The Fatimid Testament: Part II – Breaking the Barrier of Chains

Restoring the Alphabet of Reality

In the pursuit of the Reality of Religion, one often encounters a sophisticated form of gatekeeping known as "The Game of Sources." This methodological maneuvering is frequently used by modern scholastic establishments to dismiss the harrowing details of the strike against the House of Prophethood. By transforming the study of narrators (Ilm al-Rijal) into a tool of censorship, they attempt to "weaken" any testimony that threatens the established political-religious status quo. This second installment of the Fatimid Testament peels back these scholastic filters to reveal the foundational documents of our faith—specifically the Book of Sulaym ibn Qays—and exposes the intellectual and spiritual vacuum that allowed the tragedy of Lady Fatima (as) to occur.

The Game of Sources: A Tool of Censorship

While verifying the strength of narrations is a logical and natural human instinct, it has been weaponised into a "dry game" within modern academic circles. This "Game of Sources" often involves importing rules from the opponents of the Ahl al-Bayt to strike down Hadiths that reveal the Secrets of the Progeny or the graphic details of Lady Fatima's (as) oppression.

  • The Trustworthy and Secure: The Infallibles (as) instructed their followers to take knowledge from those who are "Trustworthy and Secure" (al-Thiqah al-Ma'mun)—narrators closely linked to their secrets.

  • Mathematical Rejection: Modern "censors" often reject reports that scream with the "Light of the Infallible" simply because a chain does not satisfy their arbitrary mathematical requirements.

  • The Divine Decree: Imam Mahdi (atfs) himself stated in a sacred decree: "There is no excuse for any of our followers to doubt what our trustworthy ones narrate from us".

The Alphabet of Shi’ism: The Book of Sulaym ibn Qays

At the heart of this testament lies the Book of Sulaym ibn Qays, the oldest known record of Shi'a history. Sulaym was a companion of five Infallibles and recorded the "Great Fitna" as his own eyes saw it.

Imam al-Sadiq (as) termed this book the "Alphabet of the Shi'a" (Abjad al-Shi'a), declaring that anyone without it knows nothing of the House of Prophethood's matters. It is targeted by modern "experts" precisely because it leaves no room for compromise, documenting the foundation of the Caliphate as one built on blood and fire.

The Siege and the Strike: A Document of Blood

The Fatimid Testament is written in the screams and blows recorded by Sulaym ibn Qays. The documentation reveals a stark contrast between the sanctity of a house saluted by the Prophet (SAW) and the brutality of those who came to violate it.

  • The Threat: Umar ibn al-Khattab arrived at the door with a party carrying fire, shouting for the door to be opened or he would burn it over its inhabitants.

  • The "Even So" Mindset: When Lady Fatima (as) asked if he would violate her home despite her presence, the response was a cold refusal to recognize her sanctity.

  • The Assault: Umar kicked the door open while Lady Fatima (as) was pressing her body against it to protect her children. She was crushed between the door and the wall, her rib was broken, and she was struck with a sheathed sword and a whip.

  • The Role of Qunfudh: By Umar's command, his servant Qunfudh struck Lady Fatima (as) between the shoulders, causing the miscarriage of Mohsin.

The Intellectual Deficiency of the Usurpers

To understand how such a crime was possible, we must examine the "Papers of Intellectual Deficiency" found even in Sunni Sahihs and historical texts.

  1. Ignorance of the Quran: Both Abu Bakr and Umar confessed to not knowing the meaning of the word "Abb"(grass) in the Quran, a symbol of their disconnection from the Light of Revelation.

  2. The Crisis of Jurisprudence: Sahih Muslim records that when a man asked Umar ibn al-Khattab how to pray without water, Umar replied: "Do not pray," showing a total ignorance of the Quranic command for Tayammum.

  3. The Murder of Knowledge: If a leader is ignorant of the basic pillars of prayer, they will inevitably be ignorant of the status of the "Leader of the Women of Paradise".

The Divine Satisfaction: A Final Verdict

The path of Al-Qayyimah is a Jurisprudence of Opposition. Because the "Reality of the World" was built upon distorting the truth—even changing the form of the prayer—the Reality of Religion is found in opposing those distortions.

The Prophet (SAW) left a final, immutable decree: "By Allah, O Fatima! I am not pleased until you are pleased". Historical records, including those by Bukhari, admit she died angry with Abu Bakr and Umar. If the "Piece of the Prophet" was not satisfied, then the Divine Pleasure remains withheld from those who crossed the limit and struck her cheek.
