Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on [01/02/2026].
Al-Qayyimah is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure no one is excluded from the "luminous tradition".
Compliance Status
We aim to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities.
Measures to Support Accessibility
In our mission to support the "Revival", we have implemented the following features:
-
Color Contrast: We utilize a high-contrast Navy (#001F3F) and Cream (#F5F5DC) color palette to ensure legibility for users with visual impairments.
-
Typography: Our use of EB Garamond and Cinzel is optimized for readability, with a minimum body text size of 16px and a line height of 1.6.
-
Structural Integrity: We use clear heading hierarchies (H1 through H4) to assist screen-reading software in navigating our manifesto and research.
-
Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements, including our donation forms and article links, are designed to be navigable via keyboard.
Known Limitations
While we strive for perfection, some parts of the site may have limitations:

Some historical images or PDF documents may not yet be fully optimised for screen readers. We are actively working to add descriptive alt-text to all archive materials.
Feedback and Contact Information
