Refund Policy

Effective Date: February 2026

At Al-Qayyimah, every contribution is treated as a commitment to the revival of the traditions of the Household of Prophethood. Because these funds are immediately allocated to educational research, digital infrastructure, and community service, we operate under a strict policy regarding financial returns.

Nature of Contributions

  • Donations: All financial contributions made through our digital platforms (Donorbox, Stripe) or in person (via WisePad 3) are considered voluntary gifts to support our mission. Under UK law, a gift is a completed transfer of ownership and is generally non-refundable.

  • Educational Resources: Any fees associated with specific study circles or digital research materials are used to cover operational costs and are also non-refundable once access has been granted.

Exceptional Circumstances

We acknowledge that technical or clerical errors can occur. Al-Qayyimah will consider a refund only in the following specific instances:

  • Clerical Errors: If a donor accidentally enters an extra zero (e.g., donating £1,000 instead of £100) or if a technical glitch leads to a duplicate transaction.

  • Unauthorized Use: If a donation was made fraudulently using a lost or stolen card. In these cases, we advise the cardholder to contact their bank or credit card provider immediately.

Requesting a Refund

To report a clerical error or duplicate transaction, you must contact us at [Insert Al-Qayyimah Email] within 7 days of the transaction. Your request must include:

  1. Full Name and Email address used for the donation.

  2. Date and Time of the transaction.

  3. The specific Transaction ID (found on your Donorbox/Stripe receipt).

  4. A brief explanation of the error.

Processing Time

Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method. Please note that while we process approved refunds within 10 business days, it may take longer for the funds to appear in your account depending on your bank's policies.

Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK legislation.
